Setting up a foreign-owned company in Saudi Arabia is commonly quoted at three to five months from start to finish (Motaded). Most of that time is not spent inside a ministry. It is lost between steps: a document waiting in an inbox, a filing that starts a day late, a founder abroad who does not know what to send next.

Taajeel, which has served more than 3,800 clients, takes a company from the MISA investment licence to active government accounts in 15 working days once documents are complete. Start Saudi is the operating system that lets it keep that promise at volume.

An engineering team inside the operation

Taajeel partnered with Trellis Work, a Riyadh AI engineering firm, and its sister company ChiefNest, a member of the Claude Partner Network. Trellis Work's engineers used Claude Code, Anthropic's agentic coding tool, to design, build and ship production software for Taajeel in weeks rather than quarters. Every system runs on Taajeel's own Claude accounts.

The brief was simple: remove every wait that is not a government wait.

What was built

1. A client platform in seven languages

start-saudi.com speaks to investors in Arabic, English, French, German, Turkish, Russian and Chinese, with 56 guide pages answering the questions founders ask before they commit. A four-question check tells each founder whether their case fits before a call is booked, so consultations start with qualified cases. Every enquiry is captured with its source and campaign, so marketing spend follows real demand.

2. A control panel with no developer in the loop

Taajeel's team edits every section and every guide, publishes in all seven languages at once, and works incoming enquiries from a single screen. A change that once needed a developer now ships the same day, by the people who know the business.

3. An internal operations system

Every client file is tracked through each stage of registration, with an owner and a next follow-up. Management sees the whole pipeline and each person's workload in one view. Nothing waits in a chat thread, and no file sits without someone responsible for it.

4. Search visibility built in

Every page ships with structured data, FAQ rich results, language alternates and a multilingual sitemap. An investor in Istanbul, Frankfurt or Shanghai researching Saudi setup can find Start Saudi's answer in their own language.

What it means for investors

  • One accountable team from MISA licence to commercial registration and government accounts.
  • Parallel filings. The licence and trade name run at the same time, and each next step is filed the moment the previous one clears.
  • A file that moves. Every stage has an owner and a date, so your registration never waits in a queue.
  • Sign from anywhere. Every stage can be completed from outside Saudi Arabia.

What it means for Taajeel's team

The same team now handles more clients. Enquiries arrive qualified, follow-ups are scheduled by the system instead of remembered, and routine website work no longer waits for a developer. Hours that went into chasing and coordinating now go into serving founders.

What comes next

In October 2026 Taajeel extends Claude across its team with a governed rollout: data protection rules, assistive tools for document checks, client replies and month-end finance, hands-on training and paths to Anthropic's Claude certifications. It is the first phase of Taajeel's AI centre of excellence, and the foundation for a services business that grows without growing headcount at the same pace.
